This premium Exmoor Trim hood, manufactured using Stayfast fabric, is harder-wearing, totally waterproof and a step above the Mohair quality. Alpine side windows and rear quarter windows are standard to create that classic hard-top look, but with very high-quality windows that look like glass panels

New XS Hood tailgate

Tailgate section has a simple locking bar system in the hood that locates into the retaining clips and allows the tailgate to be opened and closed with easy without the need to release the hood every time you open the back door. With the option retained to have the side and rear of the hood rolled up.

New XS Hood for the Defender safety bars.

The XS Hood is designed to fit no. RBL2367SSS, the new XS Safety Devices' full canopy support for the Defender 90.

This replaces the Land Rover original hood sticks and includes all hoops, bracing and under-body support including front & rear seat belt mountings for forward facing seats. Made from 45mm cold drawn seamless steel tube, the canopy support is powder coated black with zinc plated fittings. All coming together to form a substantial easy to fit protective bar system.

When converting a Land Rover that's all ready a soft top you will need to ensure that your windscreen aluminum rail is the TD5 type Please see linked products on the heavy duty bar set.

If you are converting from hard top to soft top you will require the additional TD5 screen rail, horizontal and vertical drain channels. Again please see linked products on the heavy duty bar set.

The Safety Devices bar system is truly 1st class and to give the customer the best deal possible you can purchase the bar system direct from safety devices, ensuring you don't pay any extra. The bars are available from Exmoor Direct at cost to compliment our XS Hood though this will increase the delivery cost.

NOTE: All canvas soft tops may wick water the first 2-3 times they get wet. Once they have naturally dried, the weave should become watertight. Seam wicking can be prevented at any time by rubbing natural beeswax over the seam as was originally done.
