The smaller and faster motor draws less amperage, takes up less room, is easier to install, and weighs less than original direct drive starter. Perfect for any Series that lives in cold weather when the available cranking amperage from a battery will drop. Requires bulkhead modification for 2.6 6 cylinder installation
