This upgraded 300Tdi rear main seal has two extra lower holes that need to be drilled and tapped into the rear main bearing cap, reinforcing the lower section of the seal that is most vulnerable to leaking. Includes five M8x25mm bolts for the standard holes and two M6x16mm bolts for the two additional holes. Designed to be sealed with RTV silicone rather than the ERR6811 gasket. During installation, wear gloves to avoid touching the oil seal with your bare hand, as this can damage the seal and result in leaking.
