This kit is designed to add a high-mount third brake lamp to Defenders with a factory-fitted heated rear window. The kit fits Defenders built from 1983 - 2001 that use metal retaining brackets to hold the glass in the rear door. This kit will not work on rear doors that utilize the rubber gasket to mount the glass.
This kit includes a heated and tinted rear door glass with brake light mounting studs, a roll of glass-to-door sealant, and a brake light assembly with mounting hardware. Also included is the wiring harness to connect the high-mount brake lamp to the existing brake light circuit at the right-hand rear brake lamp.
