Rovers North

Ignition switch for locking steering column. Includes 2 keys and 3 matching door lock cylinders. The door cylinders supplied are larger in size than pre-2001 models. Updating early Defenders to accept single key ignition and entry requires updating the exterior door handles. See notes below.

FITS: Defender, all models with locking steering column. Door lock cylinders fit 2002-2016 door handles.

NOTE: Requires 2 anti-tamper fixing bolts RND160. Often these bolts cannot be removed without destroying the retaining clamp they fasten to. For retaining clamp use RND159. To upgrade to the latest 2002-2016 manual and remote central locking for single key entry use RNI794 for the LH front exterior handle and RNI795 for the RH front. Use FQJ500340 for the rear-end manual door handle or FUB500060 for a remote central locking rear-end door handle.
